Each month, we highlight one person in Home Office so you can get to know them a little better. This month, meet Jackie Feiler, Software Engineer at ONEHOPE!

Jackie Feiler, Software Engineer

What do you love about working for ONEHOPE? It’s so inspiring to work with such smart and driven people who are passionate about what they do and want to make the world a better place.

Where were you born and raised? I was born and raised in Los Angeles. One of my favorite necklaces to wear has a charm that says ‘Made In California.’

Where do you currently live? For the past three years I’ve been living in Silverlake, which is a neighborhood in Los Angeles between Hollywood and downtown.

Tell us about yourself. I’m the oldest of three kids and am super close with my family. On the weekends, I enjoy hiking and spending time with friends, especially going to free concerts.

What's your fave ONEHOPE varietal? Rutherford Estate Sauvignon Blanc

What's is/are the top cause/s that are close to your heart and why? Helping prevent homelessness and providing homes and services for people, who are already homeless are causes that are important to me. There are so many people without homes in Los Angeles even though we have so much wealth in this city. This is something we could really solve and would completely change or save lives.

What's a fun fact about yourself? I’ve cleaned fossils with a toothbrush and sandblaster.

Do you have any hidden talents or sweet skills? I’ve played indoor volleyball since I was about ten and was on my college varsity team. Now I get to play more on the beach!

What are your hobbies? What are you passionate about? I love learning about history and enjoy going to art museums and galleries. I listen to KCRW and NPR religiously.

Anything else you want to include? I’m excited to learn about wine and hone my palate.
